Clinical Trials

At Lake Norman Hematology Oncology, we are able to offer enrollment on a wide variety of clinical trials. Clinical trials help to answer whether a new drug or combination or drugs is effective for a particular disease. Offering trials allows us to present a broader range of treatment options to our patients including drugs not available outside of a study. We enroll patients through a trial affiliation with the Center for Cancer Research at the Presbyterian Cancer Center.
Through this affiliation, we are able to enroll patients onto trials sponsored by the:
National Surgical Adjuvant Bowel and Breast Project
Southwest Oncology Group
Cancer and Leukemia Group B
Gynecologic Oncology Group
Currently we have access to over 50 trials. The available trials change periodically. If you have any interest in participating in a trial, we encourage you to discuss this with us.
